“Science on Screen” Pairs A&S Experts with Classic Films
The College of Arts and Sciences is partnering with the Nickelodeon Theatre in Columbia, S.C., for an exciting film forum series: Science on Screen.
A&S scientists will be featured speakers at showings of classic films at Nickelodeon Theatre, pairing thoughtful analysis with entertainment. First up in the series, January 28, is biologist Dr. Loren Knapp, who will discuss bird migratory behavior and relate it to Alfred Hitchcock’s memorable thriller, The Birds.
Science on Screen begins January 28 and continues through June 10. Passes for the entire series are available for $50. For information on ticket purchase and more about the film series, visit www.Nickelodeon.org.
