Always Coming Home

Mission Statement
Always Coming Home: South Carolina Women Veterans is a multimedia exploration and documentation of the South Carolina female military personnel experience, both during and after service. This website, created in 2010, through the assistance of the University of South Carolina, is part of a larger project designed to provide ongoing documentation of the diverse combat and service situations South Carolina women in the military face as well as recording the experiences of the increasing numbers of female veterans whose return to civilian life in South Carolina has been affected by their years of service.
