ASSC Annual Fall Field Day

Join the Archaeology Society of South Carolina (ASSC) for their annual Fall Field Day: "...a gathering of archaeologists, prehistoric and historic skills demonstrators, story tellers, and others who present how the people of South Carolina's distant and recent pasts experienced their daily lives through work, play, food, and community."

The ASSC's 27th Annual Fall Field Day will be on Saturday, November 15, 2014 "... in the upstate at Greenville's Croft Park. The schedule includes primitive technology, atlatl, pottery, and blacksmithing demonstrations, 19th century children's games, a knap-in, and a South Carolina Site form workshop." For more information, please go to their event page on FaceBook:

"We are also pleased to announce that this year's event will be part of the program of the Southeastern Archaeological Conference (SEAC). A shuttle will be available to transport people between the SEAC hotel and Croft Park."
