Ebola: Fact, fiction, and stories from the field
Speaker: Dr. Jeff Deal, Director of Health Studies, Water Missions International
This talk will consider Ebola from the standpoint of a US healthcare professional and MD involved in infection control and who has worked inside two Ebola Treatment Units. Against the backdrop of the disease’s history and future projections, he discusses the ways that Ebola is altering Liberian society, destroying their economy, and destabilizing their government.
