The University of South Carolina School of Visual Art and Design’s McMaster Gallery presents Return of the Wanderer, a solo exhibition by Boyd Saunders. The exhibition includes interdisciplinary works that evoke the spirit of a wanderer returning home from a long journey. The work re-examines what was once familiar through a new perspective informed by experience. This exhibition includes lithography, painting, etching, sculpture, and drawings developed by Saunders over the last 30 years. The exhibition will be on view August 27th through October 9th, 2015. The McMaster Gallery will host an opening reception on Thursday August 27th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and a gallery talk with Boyd Saunders at 6:00pm.
