Young Artist's Workshop
The Young Artists Workshop (YAW) is an enrichment program aimed at providing comprehensive sequential art education experiences that involve the production, evaluation, and appreciation of art. Emphasis is placed on learning about art and artists, analyzing art, and understanding its aesthetic, cultural and historical significance. The Young Artists Workshop is a great learning experience for children to explore their artistic creativity and knowledge. Classes are offered for children ages 5-18.
Students will participate in a series of thematic lessons, which will align with the South Carolina Visual and Performing Arts Standards. Courses are designed to meet the needs of all students in public, private, and home schooled environments.
