NGS Giant Maps

What better way to teach young people the power of maps and the limitless depth of geography than a gym-sized map on which they can explore, travel from place to place, hop around, compete, collaborate and have lots of fun? National Geographic's Giant Traveling Maps are coming to Columbia, South Carolina!
The Alliance is hosting the North America map at EdVenture Children's Museum on October 28, 29, and 30. Activity times on each date are 10am and 1pm. The EdVenture entry fee is $6.50 per student, but the Giant Map activity is a free add-on for scheduled schools. Contact Theresa Dozier at 803-400-1151 to arrange a visit by your school.
