If you are planning to attend our USC Dance Program Audition Open House Weekend, you must return our Audition Response Form and a completed Application for Admission to the Dance Program at least two weeks prior to the audition date that you have chosen.

AUDITION LOCATION
USC Dance Studios
324 Sumter Street
Columbia, SC
Check in at the front desk. Enter building from the bottom level.

The Dance Studios are located at 324 Sumter Street, between Wheat and Whaley Streets.
Parking available at meters on Sumter St.
Note, meters are not free on Saturdays.
No audition required to Minor in Dance,
Auditions are in group format. No solos required.
There is no fee required to audition.
WHAT TO WEAR
Women: Black Leotard, Pink Tights, Pink Ballet Slippers/Pointe Shoes, Hair Secured Neatly in a Bun, No Skirts.
Men: White Shirt, Black Tights and Ballet Slippers.
(If your emphasis is contemporary you still need to participate in the
ballet audition as well.)

If you are arriving Friday and are interested in seeing the dance company perform please let us know and we will hold up to 3 complimentary tickets that will be available for pick up at “will call” at the Koger Center for the Arts. You also have the same opportunity on Saturday evening if you decide to say in Columbia after your audition. Please check and fill out the appropriate information on the Audition Response form.
Check out the USC Visitor Center website for information regarding accommodations, maps and other information about USC and Columbia. Other offices you might want to visit while on campus (if time allows) are the Financial Aid Office (803-777-8134) and the Admissions Office (803-777-7700). Call them to make appointments and for campus tours. Please note that these offices may not be open over the weekend.
