German Major Kara Brown has received a Fulbright Scholarship

Undergraduate German major, Kara Brown, has been awarded a Fulbright scholarship to teach English in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt during the academic year 2015-16. Over the past five years, ten other German majors and minors have been awarded Fulbright teaching assistantships. They include Emilie Duck, Patrick Hankins, Ned Moore, Nessa Kerr, Julia Grasso, Matt Risher, Sarah-Nell Lader, Sarah Wojcik, and Cal Coggins. Eight of these students also participated in our Teaching English in Saxony-Anhalt (formerly Checkpoint Charlie) program.
