Adam is a doctoral candidate in Rhetoric and Composition, with research interests in language theory and the rhetorical aspects of ironic distance as performance. He holds a Master of Arts in English Composition from California State University, San Bernardino and a Juris Doctorate with honors from Chapman University School of Law in Orange, California, where he was a published member of the Chapman Law Review. A lecturer in English at CSUSB from 1998-2004, where he taught all levels of literature and writing courses, Adam went to law school and worked as a family law attorney prior to returning to teaching in 2014.
