Sarah Flatt is a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the American and British Literature M.A program at the University of South Carolina. She earned her B.A. from Columbus State University, during which she completed a year-long study abroad program at the University of Oxford. Her research is in 18th Century and Romantic literature, as well as Scottish studies. She is especially interested in the difference between perceptions of traveling and vagrancy in Romantic literature and their connections to women, the landscape, and nostalgia.
