Cheng Zhong awarded 2014 Grace and Allan Davis Scholarship
USC graduate student Cheng Zhong wins scholarship that supports geography graduate and undergraduate students focusing on remote sensing, GIS, and computer cartography.
USC graduate student Cheng Zhong has been awarded the 2014 Grace and Allan Davis Scholarship. The scholarship is endowed by Grace and Allan Davis, and supports graduate or undergraduate students majoring in geography with an emphasis on geographic techniques such as remote sensing, GIS, or computer cartography. Cheng's research focuses on remote sensing of the environment, especially in relation to climate change. He comes to USC with more than 10 years of experience in GIS system development and LiDAR data analysis. More information on the award can be found here.
