Grad student Kristy Carter appointed co-chair of 2016 AMS Student Conference
Kristy is also active in writing articles for the 'Down to Earth' column of the magazine Physics Today.
Graduate student Kristy Carter, who is supervised by Dr. Cary Mock, has recently been active in service and scholarship activites outside of the department at USC. First, she has been appointed co-chair of the 2016 American Meteorological Society Student Conference. The conference takes place immediately before the AMS Annual Meeting, next held in January of 2016. In addition, Kristy also writes a regular column for the magazine Physics Today.
