Join Dr. Brent Morris, associate professor of history and chair of the humanities at the University of South Carolina-Beaufort, as he and USC's Claude Henry Neuffer Professor of Southern Studies Emeritus Dr. Walter Edgar discuss the unification of the slave state in South Carolina from 1783 to 1828. This event is free and open to the public and will take place in Capstone Hall's Campus Room (902 Barnwell Street) from 530-7PM.
