Join Dr. Amy McCandless, retired professor of history at College of Charleston, as she and USC's Claude Henry Neuffer Professor of Southern Studies Emeritus Dr. Walter Edgar discuss the role of women in South Carolina during World War I. Dr. McCandless is the author of The Past in the Present: Women's Higher Education in the Twentieth-Century American South. This event is free and open to the public and will take place in Capstone Hall's Campus Room (902 Barnwell Street) from 530-7PM.
