Conversations on South Carolina: World War I and the Palmetto State

Join Dr. Janet Hudson, associate professor of history at the University of South Carolina, as she and USC's Claude Henry Neuffer Professor of Southern Studies Emeritus Dr. Walter Edgar discuss the role of black soldiers in South Carolina during World War I.  Dr. Hudson is the author of Entangled by White Supremacy: Reform in World War I-era South Carolina. This event is free and open to the public and will take place in Capstone Hall's Campus Room (902 Barnwell Street) from 530-7PM.
