Look and See: A Portrait of Wendell Berry
Join us on Wednesday, 25 October 2017 at 7PM as we show Look and See: A Portrait of Wendell Berry. The film is a cinematic portrait of the changing landscapes and shifting values of rural America in the era of industrial agriculture, as seen through the eyes of writer, farmer, and activist Wendell Berry. Filmed in the rolling hills of Henry County, Kentucky, where Berry has lived and farmed since the mid-1960s, Look and See explores Berry's poetic and prescient words about the agrarian life in America. The film is free and open to the public and will be shown in Capstone Hall's Campus Room (902 Barnwell Street). Our cosponsors are the Department of English Language and Literature and the School of the Earth, Ocean, and the Environment.
