Rothberg International School (RIS)  in Jerusalem

In partnership with The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, students are able to take classes (with instruction in English) in a variety of subjects, including:

  4. Bible Archaeology and the Ancient Near East
  5. Jewish History
  6. Civilization and Education
  7.  Journalism and Media Studies
  8. Brain and Behavioral Sciences

  10. Fine Arts
  11. Performing Arts


The Rothberg International School also offers placements for academic internships in a variety of areas and special courses (e.g., Art Jerusalem, Dance Jerusalem, Jerusalem Sounds, Arabic Immersion, and Quantitative Biology). One of the special programs currently being offered is Dynamics of the Middle East (DOME). DOME provides an interdisciplinary approach with courses in society, culture and politics of the Middle East. Following an institute for the study of Hebrew (the Winter Ulpan), students take a core course in Middle Eastern studies and a thematic, interdisciplinary seminar culminating in a two-day field trip/retreat. In addition to classes offered by the Rothberg International School, students can take classes offered in English at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in the fields of Science, Humanities, Law, and Social Sciences.
