The Return of the Violin: Film, Live Music, and a Conversation with Our Scholars

 Film screening of The Return of the Violin (2012) by Israeli director Haim Hecht.

The film will be followed by a live performance of Ernest Bloch's Nigun (from Baal Shem) played by USC School of Music Faculty Rebecca Hunter (violin) and Marina Lomazov (piano).

A Q&A session with the audience will be led by Saskia Coenen Snyder (History/Jewish Studies), Kunio Hara (School of Music), and Federica K. Clementi (English/Jewish Studies).

This event is free and open to the public.
