Research/ Academic Interests
Anna is a second year Master’s Student in Linguistics. She specializes in Linguistic Anthropology and TESOL. Her thesis focuses on specialized registers associated with drinkable commodities. Anna teaches English to USC Freshman and frequently substitutes for colleagues at English Programs for Internationals (EPI). Aside from teaching and working on her thesis, she is the program director for the Anthropology and Linguistic Program’s Native American Heritage Month event entitled Intimate Grammars: A Diné (Navajo) Poetry Panel. Anna has lived in Bordeaux and Montpellier, France, where she worked as an English teacher. She speaks both French and Spanish fluently.
