The facility is equipped with lathes, CNC milling machines, M.I.G. & T.I.G. welders, and other metal and wood working tools. We can machine parts and construct assemblies from metals, plastics, some ceramics and wood. We also work regularly with local vendors and will coordinate outsourcing of work when necessary. The shop’s two machinists have over 60 years combined experience primarily in research environments.
