USC Graduate Student Wins Best Paper Prize

South Carolina Society for Philosophy

Craig Bacon, a PhD student in the University of South Carolina's Department of Philosophy, recently won the prize for best graduate student paper at the annual meeting of the South Carolina Society for Philosophy. Craig delivered his paper, entitled “Calculating Benevolence: Hutcheson’s Non-utilitarian, Motivational Morality,” at the meeting, which took place February 14-15, 2014 at Furman University in Greenville, SC.
