Here's a link to an interesting article about archaeology in advance of the wind turbine—the future of coastal renewable energy resources. Here in South Carolina we recently joined forces with several institutions to undertake study of habitats, paleolandscapes, and shipwrecks in potential Wind Energy Areas (WEA) off Myrtle Beach and Georgetown. We’ll post more information about the project as we gear up in the coming months.
