Preliminary Low-cost Design for Newsroom Corner Set

This concept rendering is just a first idea and can certainly be revised to WOLO-TV needs. The background for the newsroom corner area would be a curved wall with a medium-blue toned mural of the statehouse as viewed from above. The curved blue mural will give depth to the backing and eliminate the room corner. Then frosted clear acrylic blinds are just behind the talent and in front of the mural. The blinds would be lit from below so that the lighting and colors can be set for maximum effect. The lighting / blinds element in front of the blue mural will provide depth and will give a good bit of flexibility in color choices. The wood frame and countertop finishes off the set for wider shots. This light emitting set should look very nice as viewed by persons on the street looking in on the broadcast.
The set will be designed to be disassembled and moved to the Shakespeare Road studio if needed.
