Theatre Production Receives Statewide Best-of Awards

Theatre South Carolina’s April 2014 production of "Hamlet" has recently received multiple honors from BroadwayWorld.com's 2014 South Carolina Regional Awards!

This year’s record-breaking vote brought in the following awards:

Best Direction of a Play-Robert Richmond
Best Ensemble in a Musical or Play
Best Leading Actor in a Play-James Costello
Best Supporting Actor in a Play-Richard Sheridan Willis
Best Lighting Design-Jim Hunter
Best Production of a Play

Additionally, Associate Professor Robert Richmond was voted as SC's Theatre Artist of the Year

Richmond also took Best Directing honors in BroadwayWorld's Washington DC region for his work on Richard III at the Folger Theatre.  Richard III was awarded Best Production, as well.
