old-timey adjective Characteristic of a former period, old-fashioned. [DARE labels this term “chiefly South, South Midland”]

1937 Hall Coll (Emerts Cove TN) Old-timey people called it a cast biler. 1967 Fetterman Stinking Creek 127 Daddy’s old-timey. He said he didn’t want boys coming around here. 1997 Dante OHP-14 We used Arbuckle’s coffee, and you had to grind it in an old timey grinder, and I’d run up in the smoke house to keep the preacher from hearing me grind coffee, when he’d stay all night.
