Grease

Original 1999 design on pictured left. 2001 production pictured on right.


Grease was originally mounted in rotating rep at an outdoor theatre in 1999 (Left Image). Set strikes in one hour and sets up in 90 minutes to allow for rotating rep with three other productions. Original proscenium opening was 40 feet and the highest point on set was 26 feet. This design was later modified for an indoor theatre in 2001 (Right Image). The design had to be reduced to fit into a theatre with a 28 foot wide by 18 foot high proscenium. Second production did not rep.
