South Carolina Hazards Atlas
The South Carolina Atlas of Environmental Risks and Hazards includes maps of major threats to the state as well informational text and lesson plans. This new atlas updates the original atlas published as a CD by the University of South Carolina Press in 1999. The atlas is accessible at www.hazardsatlas.org. This project is funded in part by a grant from the National Geographic Society Education Foundation. Additional support was provided by the South Carolina Geographic Alliance and the Hazards and Vulnerability Research Institute. This atlas was developed and is maintained at the University of South Carolina.
